Jax

Jax is a big puppy. A 77 pound puppy. He comes to us from northern Manitoba. Jax was very neglected,  mistreated in his previously home and sadly was not taught anything. Slowly he is learning to respond to correction from people and other dogs. This sweet boy does not have a mean bone in his body. Just a puppy at heart. He would do great on a rural property or with a large fenced yard. He loves being outside and would thrive with a sibling who would take the reins. He's submissive.  His recall is quite good. We do use a crate when he needs a spot to chill. He settles well and realizes it's time to relax. His is not leashed while outside and just sticks around but we have over 100 acres and are far from the road. He will chase our car down driveway so we are working on this. Jax is 99% housetrained and has had one accident in 2 weeks. He is neutered and vaccinated. Very treat motivated and really would love to learn and will make a great companion for someone with the time and patience. He has not lived with cats and does jump up so no toddlers please. Gets along with all dogs so far. Very loveable sweet boy . We estimate him to be around 1. Located in McKellar 

Jax is a 9 month old owner surrender. He was taken in as a pup as he was at risk of being euthanized. This kind man has mobility issues and just can't give him the exercise this young dog requires. Very sweet, affectionate husky, shepherd cross. Needs to work on his leash skills, is crate trained and treat motivated. Interested in cats and will follow them but not interested in hurting them. Currently in a foster home and loving the company of a child. With routine and exercise he will be an amazing pet. He is neutered and vaccinated. Located in Parry Sound area.  50 pounds

Striker is a 3 year old husky cross. He is a large boy at 85 pounds but pure love bug. He really just wants to be near people. He gets along with all female dogs but lived with a strong Alpha male in past and he took some abuse from him so he's leary of other male dogs. He has not lived with cats. Striker does mouth a bit too hard during play so suggest no small children. He's still learning. He's loving all the attention these days and learning how nice it is to let his guard down. He's playing with toys and not worrying where his next meal is coming from. This fella would make an amazing sidekick for someone. He doesn't need another dog in the home. Just one person he can trust. He has decent recall but needs some work on leash skills. Loves car rides and rests his head on driver's shoulder from back seat. Just wants to be close.  He's a gentle giant. Neutered and vaccinated. Being fostered near Owen Sound. 

Jade is approximately 1. She's a husky mix. A petite girl at about 40 pounds and around knee height. Extremely affectionate and very happy, healthy girl. She is an owner surrender, no fault of her own. Spayed and vaccinated. She would suit a home where she can continue to enjoy long country walks and a buddy. She has not lived with cats or young children. Her recall is really good. Being fostered in Rosseau.

Joker is a very gentle and affectionate 1 year old sweet boy. He's an owner surrender due to owner's housing situation. We are teaching him not to jump up but he just wants your attention.  Gets along with all dogs so far as he lived with 6 other dogs. He did need to fight for his food but is starting to realize that's in the past. His tecall is quite good. Hes a quick learner and is treat motivated. A submissive fella who would do well with another dog for guidance. Joker has been neutered and vaccinated. Currently being fostered in Pointe au Baril.

Blue is approximately 2 year old husky cross. Came to us as owner surrender through no fault of his own. He's a lovely boy. Very shy and affectionate. Nervous of new surroundings at first but his amazing foster mom is teaching him so much. He's working hard at walking nicely on leash and is doing great. Totally housetrained and not destructive when left alone. Loves to follow resident cats around the home. Gets along with all dogs but not exposed to children. Hes not a huge boy at about 48 pounds. He has been neutered and vaccinated. Located in Rosseau. 

Sadly this beautiful 2 year old sweethearts owner is facing health issues and isn't able to give her the life she needs. She's a shepherd/pitty cross. Spayed and vaccinated. Nukomi is kennel trained and can get into stuff if left unattended but you need to forgive her because she makes up for it in sweetness. She weighs about 50 pounds. Does have a tendency to jump up but she has pent up energy currently due to lack of attention and exercise. Gets along with all dogs, great with children and cats. She's had issue with ear infection but with proper diet and maintenence can be controlled. Currently still with her owner in Nobel and would need a home as soon as possible. 

Jojo is a 3 year old Siberian husky/Australian Shepherd mix. Due to personal circumstances his owner sadly was forced to surrender him. He is doing well in his foster home learning to walk nicely on a leash and not jump up. Quick to learn and treat motivated this very smart boy will make a great pet. He loves to be outside and go for long  walks. Gets along with all dogs but not exposed to cats. Loves to play and has zero aggression. He is being neutered and is fully vaccinated. A small bird struck his eye and has left him blind in his left eye but he does very well despite that.  Being fostered in Oshawa.
