Morja

Morja is a very sweet 8 year old hound cross. He gets along with all dogs, cats and even tolerates puppies. Sadly his owner moved overseas and surrendered him into our care. He's adjusted very well but would so love to have a home of his own. He is gentle with respectful children. This boy is just happy to be near his people. He will lean in for head rubs. Morja enjoys running and playing with all the other dogs at the shelter. 

 Morja does have cataracts and has some visual loss as a result. Please consider a senior dog. They have so much love to give. 

This boy is a lover. He gets along with everyone. He is totally vaccinated and neutered. Purdy is thriving in his foster home and is soaking in all the snuggles he can. He walks well on a leash and wanders a bit on his off leash walks but doesn't go far. His owner moved overseas and left  this beautiful 8 year old hound cross at the shelter. Please consider this handsome senior boy.  He's such a flirt. Look at that wink.  Purdy is being fostered in Stayner. 

This fella is now 10 weeks old and in need of a forever home. Our best breed guess is a shepherd cross but we don't know dad. Mom is a full grown 35 pound sweetheart. Guinness is up to date on vaccines and health checked. Will require 2 more boosters from adopters. He was rescued as a stray from Pikangikum Ontario with mum and his siblings. Located in Dwight in a great foster home learning some vital manners.

Miller is 10 weeks old and came from Pinkangikum with his siblings and mum after being found as strays. Our best breed guess is a shepherd cross but we don't know dad. Mom is a full grown 35 pound sweetheart. He is up to date on vaccines and health checked. Will require 2 more boosters from adopters. Located in Dwight in a great foster home.

Dori is our 9-week old sweetheart. Hard to believe she was found at one week old with her 6 siblings and mom in a very remote fly-in northern community. She scored the jackpot when a good samaritan alerted a rescue group who picked them up and flew them to a safe, warm foster home until we could bring them in. She's strong, healthy and well fed now and it's time for her to fly the coup. Her mom is a shepherd cross and dad's breed is unknown. She's currently at our shelter but she would love a home of her own. 

At 9 weeks old, Rascal is all set for a family. This healthy little boy is such a laid back guy. A bit of a piggie at the buffet followed by big naps. He is living the dream... almost. He needs to find his people. He is up to date on vaccines and health checked.  He's crashing at a foster home for now but is still looking for an adoptive family. If you think you're worthy of the stud muffin, reach out.  Breed unknown. Purebred good boy. He is being fostered in Huntsville. 

Coco is a 4 year old chocolate lab/husky who was surrendered to us by her owner due to life changes. This can be very confusing for pups, but despite this, she remains loving and sweet. She has grown up with children and gets along with all dogs. Has not  yet met cats. She walks well on a leash and has great recall. Spayed and vaccinated. 

Coco is currently in a foster-to-adopt home.

Burdie deserves the very best.  At 4 years old she has led a very sheltered life. We consider her to be special needs based on her nervousness and fearful temperament. Gradually she is gaining her confidence and really beginning to shine in her foster home.  She has made notable progress in opening up and trusting her foster parents, but this has taken time. She thrives with other dogs and makes new friends daily. Ignores cats. In a family where she is given time and patience, she will make the most amazing addition. She is spayed, vaccinated, and has been health-cleared. 

We prefer that Burdie goes to a home with adopters having previous experience with rescues. Fenced yard preferred. She would thrive in a home with other dogs. Currently being fostered in Seguin.
